Nature's Enchanted Moments, is a series of fine art images created during my many wonderful sojourns in nature.  I have always had an affinity with the natural world for as long as I can remember.  For me, it is a place that continually rejuvenates my soul and acts as a balancing point in my life. All the images for this book were taken using only the light I found.  Why try to improve on what nature does so well.  Every effort in post-production was minimized to preserve the integrity of the original scene.

The Beauty of Natural Light, is a collection of fine art images that were captured over several years using only natural light.  It is the preferred medium that I choose to create in.  I love how natural light can express and accentuate the color medium.  I relish the poetic moment when the natural color of light reveals itself to me.  There is a profound joy for me in allowing the image to come to me.  They are already there, all we have to do is find them.

The Light of Tuscany

"The light in Tuscany is the same as it is here."  I want to dispel the notion that somehow the light in places like Tuscany has a certain quality not found here in the states.  Wrong!  Light is light no matter where you are.  That early morning ethereal golden light we photographers like to chase can be found in places like Granbury, Texas and Pepin, Wisconsin as well.  The difference when we travel abroad to places such as Tuscany is we are viewing it with a fresh perspective.  Every photographic moment is a new experience.  In every corner of America at the right time of day, there can be beautiful 'Tuscan light' to enhance your photographic subjects.  I encourage you to start looking with renewed vision and passion for the 'Tuscan light' on your photographic adventures.
